The story of My Qannoubine began long before the water itself.

After years of Crohn’s disease in Australia, I found healing in 2017 through faith and the intercession of Saint Charbel — and it changed the direction of my life. I left my career behind and moved to the sacred Qannoubine Valley, where monks and pilgrims have sought God in silence for centuries. Living among its cliffs and cedars, I came to know the extraordinary purity of its spring — water filtered through snow, cedar forests and limestone, naturally rich in minerals, naturally alkaline. My Qannoubine was born as a mission: to share the Holy Valley with the world, and to help preserve its environment, culture and legacy for generations to come.

Where does the water come from?

From a single protected spring in the Qannoubine (Kadisha) Valley of North Lebanon — a UNESCO World Heritage site. The water emerges at roughly 1,950 metres after a years-long descent through cedar-rooted limestone.

What makes it alkaline?

Time and stone. As the water travels through limestone strata it gathers dissolved calcium and magnesium carbonates, which raise its pH to a natural 8.0. Nothing is added and nothing is adjusted.

Why glass bottles?

Glass is inert. It imparts no taste, leaches nothing, and preserves the mineral profile exactly as the spring gives it. It is also endlessly recyclable — fitting for water this old.

How limited is the production?

The spring flows at roughly two litres per minute and we collect only what it offers naturally. That caps us at a maximum of 450 boxes a day — then we wait for tomorrow. Shipments depart every seven days, once that week’s allocation has been reserved. The source sets the pace, not the market.

What minerals does it contain?

80 mg/L of calcium, 29 mg/L of magnesium and natural bicarbonates — a mineral profile in the same family as the great alpine waters, inherited entirely from the valley’s limestone.

How is it collected?

By gravity, at the spring mouth. There is no drilling, no pumping from aquifers, no industrial extraction and no alteration of the landscape — the spring sets the pace, we follow it.

What is the Founding Collection?
